L- The language on the front of the cover says nothing more then the kings of leon for the headline. It is simple and too the point. This gives clear instructions to the reader as to what the article is going to be about, as well as this the image is a clear indication. In the top left hand corner in a Q&A symbol, this also gives the reader a clear idea as to what the page consists of. The Q&A is written in a sans serif font, this gives it a more modern appearance. As well as this the font is in white and highlighted with a red background, this creates a contrast between the font making it stand out and helps to grab the audiences attention in an informative manor. The image dominates the majority of the page, and is the main feature of the page. The image shows the four band members.

I- This is a contents page from Rolling stone magazine, Rolling stone is produced by Jann Simon Wenner. The magazine covers mainstream, pop and indie. As well as politics and film, it also features music articles and interviews.
I- The ideology of a music magazine is to entertain inform and to showcase the newest music around. The band on the double page spread is the kings of leon. They are well regarded and respected within there own right within the Rock/ indie genre
That rolling stones represent.
A-               The audience for rolling stones magazine are fans of the music genre and the artist featured. The artist featured in the particular double page spread is the kings of Leon. Kings of Leon have only recently come to light in the last ten or so years however then have been performing as a band for much longer. Because of that the kings of leon have a large fan basis that is likely to buy this magazine.
R- the pages represent kings of Leon by the way they choose to feature them, the colours are quite rustic and the band are featured as laid back. The font used is a serif font, this helps to give the impression of maturity ad well as a laid back style with the colour scheme used, this helps to tie in with the impression rolling stones creates throughout the magazine.
